More on your custom dog painting
  1. When you complete the order form, indicate your interest in dog (or cat) portrait painting/s. Briefly describe the pet/s, portrait size/s, how many, whether it's a gift, and when you would (ideally) like to have it.  
  2. Within 24 hours of receiving your  order, we will text (or phone) you to discuss your painting/s.
  3. Each custom dog watercolor portrait takes between 6 - 20 hours to paint (depending on the size of portrait, darkness of pet's fur and how much, plus details added). 
  4. Upon receiving 50% Non-Refundable deposit, Amanda Pirot of Treasured Dog will put you in her schedule and begin the painting (1st come, 1st serve). 
  5. About the photos you will text or email as reference for the painting. Text or email  2-4 favorite photos of each dog (and full body photos for medium, large, and giant size paintings). The photos ideally should be taken face-forward, at eye-level, and good daylight.  It's important to be able to see eyes, nose, mouth and chest, and hair coloring, in detail.   Best photo is one that captures essence of pet's personality, i.e. smiling, alert, cautious, energetic, tongue always out.  
  6.  You  receive a text communication upon portrait/s completion. You pay 50% balance due.
  7. Before  your portrait is shipped (if applicable), you (may) specifically request to see a photo of the painting/s to assure you are satisfied. Minor corrections can be done, as needed. Keep in mind that watercolor is a medium where you can not delete paint, only add paint. 
  8. Your portrait will be hand delivered (locally in the San Francisco Bay Area) whenever possible. If in the U.S. it will be shipped USPS, wrapped safely and securely.
